I would do them (normally) after at least a 30 minute workout.

Doing abs before any physical exercise is the best for building strength anyway.

working out in the mourning is the best time for anything. It speeds up your metoblism natuarally. so burn more and that is always good. It also works with your natual body clock. I am a personal trainer
