Is swimming a good workout to get bigger biceps and pecks and to improve abs?

I have recently begun to swim instead of lifting weights because I find that it more fun and enjoyable. But can I get the same results this way? Currently I am swim 13 laps a day and every day I go an additional 2 laps. Any thoughts?

what do u mean by laps??

btw, i dnt think swimming would be better than weights, if muslce is what u want. but swimming is a great cardio and does make u stronger:)

No it is not, you lift weights to improve at swimming not the other way round, although swimming will probably result in you loosing weight therefore making it more likely that you will see abs.
