If i work out my abs one day should i do a different workout the next day and let my abs rest?

or can i continuously workout out the same muscles 5 times a week? or should i do abs one day and arms the next day etc.. i do cardio 5 times a week

Abs and calves are different when compared to the rest of your muscle groups.

You can effectively work out your calves and abs every day without harming them.
