abs workout when bending low belly cramp pain?

After working out some different abs workout… I stood down and there was a sudden wave of lower intestinal activity.. it felt as though something like a snake like movement in my lower stomach. Could actually feel the intestine moving. It kinda immobilizes me for a few seconds and mins.. then it goes back to normal. Is that a normal thing for someone who is kinda starting back to do some abs for a 42 yr old male. Not in the greatest shape but not overweight, About 2 kg more than mean weight. Slight beer belly but do not drink.

The abs might have been cramping. Mine will do it when I get carried away. You only need to work the abs 2 times a week (contrary to some of the non-sense you’ll read on here).

The abs are actually 4 different muscles, they all have a slightly different feel when they cramp.
